Hello my friends. I decided to challenge myself to write a blog post every day for the next 30 days and try to make it in the top 100000 sites on Alexa.com with this website, georgetiganus.com. Actually, I am going to write an article each day until I make it, even if it is going to take more than 30 days but I wanted to set a challenging goal (and to have you as witnesses so I won’t be tempted to slow down at one point).

This will be a completely uncovered marketing campaign and I will reveal everything I use, while also trying a few different strategies (because it is about experimenting after all, isn’t it?).

Currently, the website ranks 422679.

The main strategies I used for getting here are article marketing and video marketing. Meanwhile I tested many article and video submission services and came up with a few that are really powerful. Anyway, we’ll see how it goes.

The 30 Day Blogging Challenge

Here’s the plan:

- create one article each day (most of them written completely by me, some using Instant Article Wizard to help me in the process)

- I will probably use the SEO Pressor plugin for optimizing each post for the search engines (I tend to give high attention to SEO, I don’t like to write stuff that isn’t perfectly targeted)

- spin the articles with The Best Spinner

- submit the spun articles to thousands of article directories with Article Marketing Robot (I will probably schedule it to submit to about 50 directories every one hour)

- bookmark the articles using Bookmarking Demon (if you think about trying this at one point and find BMD too expensive, you can use for example Onlywire to bookmark your content, even though they can’t be compared in any way)

- create short videos promoting each article, upload them to the video sharing websites using ContentBuzz

- I will also keep connecting with people using social media and comment on other people’s blogs (I’m a member of Tribe Syndication Association, more on that on an article very soon)

I’ll update this as I add other tools along the way. Hope it will inspire you!

Of course, making it to the top 100000 sites on Alexa isn’t the most important thing in the world BUT there can only be benefits from it because usually a website that gets there is going to get great rankings for the targeted keywords plus a pretty high level of authority.

I personally perceive a person who has a website ranked so high as a leader and I am sure many other people do too because it takes hard work and commitment.
