Now, even though I am not an Amway distributor, I really respect a brand that goes all the way back to 1959 and in 2009 had a revenue of 8.4 billion dollars from sales. The Amway Business includes care products, jewelry, electronics, dietary supplements, water and air purifiers, insurance and cosmetics.
Amway is present in 58 countries and currently enjoys huge growth in countries like Russia, China and especially India. Amway Global (the North American affiliate of the Amway Corporation) is ranked first in the Health & Beauty category for the seventh year in a row.
An Amway Rep benefits by monthly performance bonuses ranging from 3% to 25% of the business volume depending on their productivity plus monthly and annual leadership bonuses and other cash prizes based on group performance.
So what really is an Amway Diamond?
A diamond is someone who manages to build 6 legs that each generate Silver Producer Volume for at least 6 months of the year. It is a very challenging task but it seems like more than 4000 people worldwide have qualified to that level which gets them an average of around 200.000$ per year.
Is there an obvious path for someone to become an Amway Diamond?
Let’s think from a beginner’s perspective who has yet to discover that there’s a magical wand called the Internet: what are your options to eventually grow into an Amway Diamond?

The bottom line is that offline success of marketing the Amway business, like in any other multi-level marketing opportunity, relies on the determination of the individual, their adaptability to every situation and the willpower to get over hundreds of rejections.
Let’s take a look at the online environment. Amway Global’s online sales were more than $885 million in 2009. Besides being relevant as to online sales, this figure also proves that hundreds of thousands of distributors worldwide are using the Internet at least to order their products.
In my opinion, the real solution for becoming an Amway Diamond is to master online marketing and to train people how to do the same. Duplication is way easier when you have a sales funnel in place and you take your prospects through it. What you have to do is to keep contact by daily e-mails and this way you don’t have to go and hold tens of presentations weekly. You are the expert, they learn from you and they have all the reasons in the world to follow if you give them valuable info.
Internet Marketing is not that hard and achieving the diamond level in Amway should definitely be your goal if you take the business seriously.
