Welcome to this review of the most important video submission tools available on the internet. Sincerely, I tried them all and I think I can take an objective look to reveal the pros and cons of each one.
Traffic Geyser
Traffic Geyser is the best known of all, especially because it is heavily promoted by internet marketers all over the place.
Here are some of the pros:
- submits videos to more than 30 video sharing websites and also to podcast sites
- can submit articles to about 40 well-known article directories
- a slideshow creator which can help you make a video in minutes
- a lead page generator, very helpful to your marketing campaigns
- great video tutorials and even some very valuable marketing training lessons
- affiliate programs, you get paid 33% commission each month from every affiliate
- option to delay the submission on several days to look more natural to the search engines
Now the cons:
- $97 a month (way too much for what a video submission service does, if you asked me)
- does not include some very important websites like Metacafe and Break.com
I used Traffic Geyser for about 3 months but I started to see too many failed submissions, plus I realised that there are other cheaper alternatives which are just as good.
Tubemogul

Tubemogul is a free service (which is great) and can submit your video to about 25 video sharing websites. There’s not much to say about it… it does exactly what it’s supposed to BUT if you are an internet marketer and you submit marketing related videos, there is a very high likelihood they will close your account for overly promotional content.
I heard many people complaining about it and it also happened to me. You can always register with a new account but overall I don’t think this is the best solution out there.
Content Buzz

This was a big surprise for me. I knew little about it and when I first heard about Content Buzz, the price was $67 a month. Also, not too many reviews so I didn’t know what to think. I decided to stay away from it.
About a month ago, looking for the best way to submit my videos, I went into Content Buzz again. To my surprise, this service is a great alternative to those above and it does some cool things that Traffic Geyser and Tubemogul don’t.
PROS:
- submits to about 25 video sharing websites (including all the major ones) and also to feeder blogs and micro-blogs
- it is based on an online application that allows other people from the network to automatically bookmark your content, helping you to rank your videos and even your blog posts or any other URL better
- adds the submissions to other’s RSS aggregator accounts, giving you two backlinks for the price of one
- automatically builds bookmarking campaigns to your youtube videos so they get higher rankings
- submissions delayed over a few days to look more natural
- $29.97 per month, I consider this a pro, it is a great price for what the service does
- 33% monthly affiliate commissions
CONS:
- being an online application, you have to keep your computer open most of the time so it can access your account, bookmark other’s content and get bookmarks from them
Conclusion
Traffic Geyser is great if you can afford it, but I think it is completely overpriced and most people praise it just to make some extra affiliate money or because they do video marketing and there aren’t so many professional services available that can do what TG does.
Tubemogul is great because it’s free but is very limited in what it does and you should use it especially if you do entertainment videos and stuff that is unrelated to internet and network marketing.
In my opinion, Content Buzz is the best solution, with a decent price and the awesome link building option which no other similar tool provides.

George, I have tried trafficgeyser twice and was not happy either time and I have used tubemogel with some results but not really what I was looking for. I am going to try Content Buzz just to see how it is. Thank you for your article on the three different platforms. PS I had never heard of Content Buzz before

Hi Ross,
My bet is you’ll like CB. It does exactly what it’s supposed to and is of great value for the money. Also, I get less failed submissions than with TG.
Please come back after you’ve used it for a while to share your thoughts!
Thanks,
George
George great review as I shoot a lot of videos this really interested me. I have never used a paid service to submit my videos but I may in the future so I will keep your suggestions in mind.
What I like to do is use tubemogul + youtubes automatic submissions and that seems to work well for me now.

Hi Steve,
Tubemogul can be a great solution if you get used to it. For me it was pretty annoying but I guess the first thing anyone should do would be to try a free alternative if it exists.
TG and CB can do a little bit more than just video syndication, but many people just want their videos out there and nothing else.
Thanks for stopping by,
George

This is a great post George! It’s very useful to me because I’m considering using a submission service for my videos. I think I will try tubemogul since I’m not in the IM niche. Thanks for the heads up.

Hi Hazel-Ann, I hope Tubemogul will work for you. Test, test, test!
And the most important thing… more content, more often!
Thanks,

Thanks for the tip. I’ve just started with video but I plan to post at least once a week. Will definitely try out TubeMogul and I’ll share the results over time with you, if that’s ok.

It would be great! Please let me know how it’s going because there’s nothing more powerful than learning from your personal experience and that is what people also want to hear!
A review of a service you’ve actually used is much more powerful than one you’ve made up from what you think you know about it.
Most people just search for some information and they throw it in there without even knowing what the product is about!
Top marketers don’t do that. This is how you become better and better.

Hi Beverly, thanks for your precious comment. Never heard of Talk Fusion before, I’ll take a look. As far as I know, there aren’t many decent video submission services on the market so each one deserves an in-depth analysis.
Maybe you can tell us more about Talk Fusion or if you write a review, you can give us a link, we’d be happy to check it out!
Thanks,
George

Hello George,
Any thoughts on why there is so little comment and genuine review on the web about Content Buzz? It is very difficult to find anything other than reviews and comments from people selling it as affiliates.

Hi Jen,
You’re SO RIGHT!!! I wondered exactly the same thing. I don’t really know why people aren’t talking about it… I’ve been using it for about 3 months and I LOVE IT! Most people probably promote Traffic Geyser because they’re making more affiliate money but if you deeply analyze TG and CB then it is obvious that CB is better for video syndication and it also does some auto-bookmarking which is pretty cool.
I haven’t even placed an affiliate link on this post… I really want people to start using CB and see that video marketing can be relatively cheap.
It’s definitely one of my top 5 tools.
Take care,
George

Hi Jen,
thanks for the comparison review of Traffic Geyser and Content Buzz. CB definitely seems more cost effective, except, of course, it doesn’t have built in video landing page. But I plan to compensate that by buying the OptimizePress WordPress Plugin for a one time charge. That way I can save on video distribution using CB and have my one Vieo Landing Page System without the monthly recurring charge.
Cheers

It’s very refreshing to see reviews that are not “money motivated”.
TubeMogul is great however, they have shut us down several times because we are using it for “commercial purposes”. This is a big time hassle because it does take some time to setup everything such as the passwords for all of the video sites.
Thanks again for the article.

Hi George,
A few years ago I used to agree with you that Traffic Geyser was overpriced. That was back when I didn’t create very many videos.
Today I create a couple of videos each week, it really has become a habit, and now I believe that Traffic Geyser is well worth the monthly charge.
Great Blog, keep up the good work

Hi Carla,
I have nothing against Traffic Geyser, it’s just that Content Buzz does the same stuff + some social bookmarking backlinks to your URLs and the cost is $30 instead of $100 per month! Big difference in my opinion.
Thanks,
George

Hello George Tiganus,
Thank you for giving this kind of information about traffic Geyser. Among those three section which one is the best? According to you it is Content Buzz. But I think the second one “Tubemogul” is the best I want more information about this. Hope your next post give me that.
Thank you again for this kind of discussion.

Hi George! This is great comparative analysis. When I used Traffic Geyser, I had little learning curve in using it, however the price is really not that cheap considering the cost of starting a new marketing campaign. Contentbuzz however spells the processes differently. While using the same cut and paste “wizard” feature found on most marketing softwares, it is not easy editable once the video is on queue for blasting, however the price packages are really great! You get the same service at a lower price.
Thanks for the review George! I was looking for something to help me decide who to use. So far I have only used Oneload(tubemogul) to submit videos to about 9 different sites using the free account. I would upgrade but they want $150 for a business account and no contract. Think i’m gonna try contentbuzz since it seems like you get more and payless.
Thanks K
